Refunds and Returns Policy

ErrandWorks is committed to ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our community. Our refund and returns policy is valid for 30 days from the date of purchase. Unfortunately, if 30 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer a full refund or exchange.

Eligibility for Returns:

  • Items must be unused, in the same condition as received, and in the original packaging.
  • A receipt or proof of purchase is required.
  • Returns should be sent to the original vendor, not the manufacturer.

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers)
  • Intimate or sanitary goods
  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids or gases
  • Gift cards, downloadable software, some health and personal care items

Partial Refunds:

  • Books with signs of use
  • Opened CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes, software, video games, cassette tapes, or vinyl records
  • Items not in original condition, damaged, or missing parts not due to our error
  • Items returned more than 30 days after delivery

The amount of the refund for partial refunds is at the vendor’s discretion.

Refund Process: Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email about the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed and credited to your original payment method within 5 days, depending on your bank.

Late or Missing Refunds:

  • Check your bank account and contact your credit card company or bank for processing times.
  • If unresolved, contact us at support@errandworks.me.

Exchanges: At ErrandWorks, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction. We will replace items only if they are defective or damaged. To initiate an exchange, please provide proof of the defect or damage and contact us at support@errandworks.me. Once approved, you can send your item back to the original vendor for an exchange.

Please note that ErrandWorks can assist with returns and exchanges for purchases made through our platform. Transactions conducted outside of our platform are not covered under this policy.

The vendor is responsible for the cost of refunding. If a chargeback is not resolved within 7-14 days, the vendor’s account may be suspended. Prompt responses to customer inquiries and requests are crucial for the vendor’s success on our platform.

Incomplete Work by a Vendor

In cases where a vendor fails to complete the agreed-upon services, evidence must be presented for mediation. ErrandWorks will assist in mediating disputes between the customer and vendor. However, if the vendor fails to fulfill the customer’s requests or if the customer fails to pay the vendor, legal action may be necessary.

Shipping Returns:

  • Return shipping costs are your responsibility and are non-refundable.
  • Consider using a trackable shipping service for expensive items.

Prohibited Items and Conduct

ErrandWorks is a community-driven platform built on trust and hard work. We encourage clients to research service providers carefully. The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Weapons, firearms, ammunition, explosives
  • Illegal prostitution or sex trafficking
  • Exploitation or endangerment of minors
  • Recalled items, hazardous materials, unsanitized bedding/clothing
  • Prescription drugs, medical devices, controlled substances
  • Alcoholic beverages or tobacco products (unless legally permitted)
  • Pet sales (rehoming with a small adoption fee is acceptable)
  • False, misleading, or fraudulent content
  • Offensive, obscene, defamatory, or malicious postings
  • Personal identifying information
  • Stolen property or burglary tools

Any attempt to post these items will result in immediate removal. Users must comply with all applicable laws, ErrandWorks terms of use, and site rules. Report any fraudulent activities or scams to us immediately. Thank you for helping keep ErrandWorks safe and secure for everyone!
