ErrandWorks.me Warranty, Return & Conduct Policy Effective Date: October 19, 2025
ErrandWorks.me is a third-party platform facilitating connections between customers and independent vendors (service providers). This policy outlines the terms under which service and product concerns may be addressed, and the platform’s role in dispute resolution.
1. Scope of Policy
This policy applies only to transactions completed via ErrandWorks.me and is contingent upon the type of product or service provided, and the inclusion of any warranties. ErrandWorks.me does not assume responsibility for transactions conducted outside the platform.
2. Product Returns and Warranties
Products with Warranty: If a product includes a warranty, the vendor’s warranty terms shall govern the return process. Customers must refer to the warranty documentation provided by the vendor. Products without Warranty: For products not accompanied by a warranty, returns are subject to the vendor’s individual return policy. Customers must contact the vendor directly to initiate a return. Used Items: The 30-day warranty does not apply to used items sold through the platform. All used items are sold as is, and ErrandWorks.me assumes no responsibility for condition, performance, or fitness for a particular purpose.
3. Service Returns and Warranties
Standard Warranty Coverage: ErrandWorks.me offers a 30-day limited warranty on services booked through the platform. This warranty covers:
- Material defects in service delivery
- Failure to perform agreed-upon tasks as outlined in the service request or contract
Warranty claims must be submitted within 30 calendar days of the service completion date. ErrandWorks.me will review claims and may, at its discretion, facilitate resolution including partial refunds, re-performance of services, or mediation between parties.
Services with Warranty: If a service includes a warranty, the terms specified in the service agreement between the vendor and customer shall govern. Services without Warranty: In the absence of a warranty, service-related issues must be resolved between the customer and vendor per the vendor’s terms of service.
Contractual Exceptions: Certain services may carry modified warranty terms when explicitly stated in a written agreement between the vendor and customer. These exceptions must be documented prior to service delivery and referenced within the ErrandWorks.me platform.

4. Eligibility for Returns
- Items must be unused, in the same condition as received, and in the original packaging
- A receipt or proof of purchase is required
- Returns should be sent to the original vendor, not the manufacturer
- If more than 30 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer a full refund or exchange
5. Non-Returnable Items
- Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers)
- Intimate or sanitary goods
- Hazardous materials, flammable liquids or gases
- Gift cards, downloadable software, some health and personal care items
6. Partial Refunds
Partial refunds may be issued at the vendor’s discretion for:
- Books with signs of use
- Opened CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes, software, video games, cassette tapes, or vinyl records
- Items not in original condition, damaged, or missing parts not due to our error
- Items returned more than 30 days after delivery
7. Refund Process
Once your return is received and inspected, ErrandWorks.me will notify you via email about the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed and credited to your original payment method within 5 business days, depending on your bank.
8. Late or Missing Refunds

9. Exchanges
ErrandWorks will replace items only if they are defective or damaged. To initiate an exchange:
- Provide proof of the defect or damage

- Once approved, send the item back to the original vendor
ErrandWorks can assist with returns and exchanges for purchases made through our platform. Transactions conducted outside of our platform are not covered under this policy.
10. Vendor Responsibilities
- Vendors are responsible for the cost of refunding
- If a chargeback is not resolved within 7–14 days, the vendor’s account may be suspended
- Prompt responses to customer inquiries and requests are crucial for vendor success on the platform
11. Incomplete Work by a Vendor
If a vendor fails to complete agreed-upon services:
- Evidence must be presented for mediation
- ErrandWorks will assist in resolving disputes
- If the vendor fails to fulfill the customer’s requests or the customer fails to pay, legal action may be necessary
12. Shipping Returns
- Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility and are non-refundable
- Consider using a trackable shipping service for expensive items
13. Prohibited Items and Conduct
ErrandWorks is a community-driven platform built on trust and hard work. The following are strictly prohibited:
- Weapons, firearms, ammunition, explosives
- Illegal prostitution or sex trafficking
- Exploitation or endangerment of minors
- Recalled items, hazardous materials, unsanitized bedding/clothing
- Prescription drugs, medical devices, controlled substances
- Alcoholic beverages or tobacco products (unless legally permitted)
- Pet sales (rehoming with a small adoption fee is acceptable)
- False, misleading, or fraudulent content
- Offensive, obscene, defamatory, or malicious postings
- Personal identifying information
- Stolen property or burglary tools
Any attempt to post these items will result in immediate removal. Users must comply with all applicable laws, ErrandWorks terms of use, and site rules. Report any fraudulent activities or scams to us immediately at errandworks.me/contact.
14. Spam and Phishing Awareness
- Verify the legitimacy of emails from ErrandWorks.me or associated vendors
- Avoid clicking suspicious links or sharing personal information in unsolicited messages
- Report suspected spam or phishing attempts at errandworks.me/contact
15. Due Diligence
- Customers should verify vendor credentials and reviews before engagement
- Vendors should confirm the legitimacy of customer inquiries before proceeding
